“Sarah’s faith embraced the miracle power to conceive even though she was barren and was past the age of childbearing, for the authority of her faith rested in the One who made the promise, and she tapped into His faithfulness.” –Hebrews 11:11 (TPT)
Hebrews 11 talks about the Power of Bold Faith and lists people known for their faith throughout the Bible. In the midst of all the chaos and trouble around the world, God is calling us to LET FAITH ARISE. In John 16:33, Jesus said, “Everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in Me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in Me. For in this world, you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world.”
Let us be encouraged by God’s Word and hold onto His promises; for by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Through Him, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37). His plan is to prosper us, not to harm us, but to give us a future with hope (Jeremiah 29:11). His perfect love drives out fear (1 John 4:18) and nothing will ever be able to separate us from His love (Romans 8:38-39). He will never leave us nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:8). He will hold us up with His victorious right hand (Isaiah 41:10).
Just like Sarah, may our faith rest in the One who promised, and may we continue to tap into His faithfulness. “May the God who gives hope fill you with great joy. May you have perfect peace as you trust in Him. May the power of the Holy Spirit fill you with hope.” (Romans 15:13) God bless us all.
