To give Him the glory and see His glory revealed

“But he did not doubt or waver in unbelief concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and empowered by faith, giving glory to God…” –Romans 4:20 (AMP)

I once heard in a sharing that the word “glory” in Hebrew is “kabod” which means, “weight” or “honor” depending how it is used. In Romans 4:20, Paul shares how Abraham remained firm in his faith and gave the glory (weight) to God. I believe it should be the same for us. We have to learn how to let go and just let God. We have to learn how to release everything from our grip and just let His hand take over. We have to learn how to lay it all before Him and have confidence that He knows what’s best for us.

When trials, challenges, and circumstances of life appear so uncertain or too difficult to understand, it’s quite easy to get overwhelmed, to feel confused, or to crumble in fear. But when God said, “Cast your cares for I care for you,” He’s telling us to surrender everything beyond our control and to trust His sovereignty because He is the God of miracles; He is the God who can do the impossible; He is the God who holds everything in His hand. And whatever we’re facing and whatever we’re going through, His glory will always be revealed as we surrender it all to Him and give Him all the glory. For His perfect love abounds and dispels all fears.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for the life of anyone who is reading this. I pray that You let Your Word be alive in him/her. Strengthen him/her and empower him/her. Remind him/her that You are with him/her through it all and he/she is victorious in You. Be glorified in him/her life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

In Christ,

Justine Anne
